Highlights

Features

The CrossFire LM3S102 Evaluation Kit has all that you need to evaluate the stunning new Stellaris LM3S102 Cortex-M3 microcontroller from Luminary Micro. We bundle the CrossFire LM3S102 evaluation board, a mini-USB cable, a Getting Started manual, and a license for CrossWorks for ARM (locked to the board).

The Amazing Stellaris LM3S102

The LM3S102 is based on the ARM Cortex-M3 controller core, with 8KB single-cycle FLASH, 2KB single-cycle SRAM, two timer modules, watchdog timer, synchronous serial interface (SSI), I2C, one analog comparator, UART, and up to 18 GPIOs.

For users of current 32-bit MCUs, the Stellaris family offers the industry's first implementation of Cortex-M3 and the Thumb-2 instruction set. With blazingly-fast responsiveness, Thumb-2 technology combines both 16-bit and 32-bit instructions to deliver the best balance of code density and performance. Thumb-2 uses 26% less memory than pure 32-bit code to reduce system cost while delivering 25% better performance.
