CrossWorks Tour — Helping Hand
CrossWorks is feature-packed and to assist you when starting out with our tools we have varying levels of help built into CrossStudio.
Basic Help
Like all modern applications these days, CrossStudio has tool tips on each
of its tool buttons. Many tool buttons are immediately familiar such as
Cut, Copy, and Paste, whereas others like Build and
Disconnect are far from universal and some are unique to CrossStudio.
Tool tips are great when you know the interface fairly well, but sometimes you
need a little more help, so CrossStudio shows a short description on
the status bar when displaying a tool tip and you can call up even more help
using What's This? on Shift+F1.
The Online Manual
A fully-indexed, searchable XHTML-based manual is integrated right into CrossWorks.
We've completely revised the contents for the latest release, adding extra detail
and tutorials, refining the structure, and making it even more readable.
Because the manual is hyperlinked, you can flick between subjects much faster than
you can with a printed manual—and if find you use some sections over and over
again, you can bookmark them quickly and add them to the Favorites window!
